Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, faculty members and administrators are working together to establish a leading role in the fields of graduate studies and scientific research. The graduate studies programs at the College of Engineering started with the master's level, and included the Master of Science in Engineering Management and the Master of Science in Renewable Energy, The master's degree in industrial safety and risk management operations in addition to the higher diploma program in engineering management will also start next year. College research programs tend to apply knowledge in the areas of both theoretical and applied engineering, and areas of interest include industrial process improvement, advanced materials, water desalination, renewable resources, climate change, solar energy, and nanotechnology.
